Wing Commander R. Srinivasa Murthy, after graduation in science joined the Indian Air Force in 1963 as a pilot. During his career spanning more than 30 years has flown many multi engine transport aircraft. He has not only taken part in 3 major wars that India had to fight also many peace keeping operations within and outside the country. An able administrator, he managed Bangalore Golf Club for over 9 years and streamlined its administrative operations. A keen traveller, he has visited more than 20 countries. A keen bridge player, he is now a full time Trustee in charge of the construction of the integrated shelter, ‘Nisarga Grama’.
